Colored Frit that works with
Float Glass (Window Glass)

Float glass, or as it is sometimes called, window glass, is a popular way to fuse glass. Float glass is inexpensive and often free when saved from your local commercial glass company. Work with thicker plate glass making room dividers, furniture, table tops or in doors. Before this product was available, you could not add color to float glass. Now the glassworker has a colorful palette of compatible frit and powder for decorating float glass.
It is important to know that all window or float glass may NOT be the same COE. Different manufactures make the glass. They are not concerned with the COE. It is usually around COE 82. What this means is that you may need to experiment. DO YOU LIVE where it is impractical or expensive to ship sheet glass? Well this frit is perfect for you. You can easily find float glass locally and then use this frit for color. Float Glass is often free - ask your local glass shop to save their cut offs for you. This Frit has a coefficient of expansion of 82 x10-7deg C
